- Contact information you provide: when you request the free Family Rhythm Starter Kit, purchase a product, or contact us, we collect information such as your name and email address.
- Purchase information: payment is processed by Stripe, which acts as Managed Payments merchant of record for eligible digital products. We receive confirmation that a purchase was made, which product was purchased, and the email address associated with the order. We do not receive or store your full payment card details — those are handled directly by Stripe.
- Automatically collected information: our website is hosted and operated through systeme.io, which may use cookies or similar technologies necessary for the site to function (such as remembering your session or opt-in status). We do not currently use third-party advertising trackers; this policy will be updated if that changes.
2. How we use your information
- To deliver the downloads, course access, or community access you've requested or purchased.
- To send you the free Starter Kit and related email content, if you've opted in.
- To send purchase confirmations, receipts (via Stripe/Link), and product-related communication.
- To respond to support requests.
- To improve our products and content based on aggregate, non-identifying feedback.
3. How your information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers who help us operate:
- Stripe / Stripe Managed Payments: processes your payment and, for eligible transactions, acts as merchant of record — meaning Stripe handles billing, receipts, and related tax compliance for that sale.
- systeme.io: our email, website, and course/community platform; stores your contact information, tags, and engagement history so we can deliver content and manage your subscription.
- A small internal integration service that relays purchase confirmation from Stripe to systeme.io so your access can be granted automatically. This service does not store your information beyond what's needed to complete that handoff.
4. Your choices
- You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email.
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at support@rootedinruckus.com.
- If you're located somewhere with specific privacy rights (such as the EU/UK under GDPR or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights — contact us to exercise them.
5. Children's privacy
Rooted in Ruckus is intended for adult caregivers and parents. Our site and products are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your region).
6. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as needed to provide our products and services, comply with our legal and tax obligations, and maintain our business records, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
